InsideOut Garden Rooms

B (for Bistro)

Bistro Sets:- Bring some Parisian charm to the foot of your garden room or invite a neighbour over for a coffee and a viewing. These sets start at 2 chairs and a small table at £150. It complements a garden room nicely because of the size and makes a more entertaining space.

- The best range of sets are available at alfresia.co.uk

Blinds:- If the sun shines then you’ll very rarely want to stop it shining into your garden room. But for reasons of security, privacy and glare you may want to install a quick fix. Blinds are a great solution and an easy solution. A bonus tip is to get your favourite photo and send it off to a blinds company that prints photos straight onto blinds. That way you’re getting a peice of art as well as a practical blind.

Books:- Coffee table books are a great way to express yourself and give you chance to day dream. Having the odd coffee table book in your garden room provides a perky moment for when someone visits or for when you need a little inspiration or motivation.

-  Local charity shops are a great source for books or perhaps a publisher like Taschen.

Benches:- Armchair benches are an type of excellent seating that will take less room up inside a garden room. An armchair bench is comfortable  and effortlessly tasteful and fits snuggly against a wall.

- Nina Campbell offers some inspiration to the perfect upholstered armchair benches.

Black Boards : – Chalkboards didn’t go out of fashion like vinyl. They were superseded by progress and now they’re back in style. Any part of a wall can be painted with a dark matt colour and then wrote on with chalk. This is a cheap and stylish use of wall space and is efficient too.

Bowls:- :- The more fruit bowls you have around the more you will be encouraged to eat fruit rather than junk. When working in a garden room arm yourself with fruit, not chocolate! Ebay have good staffordshire pottery at accessible prices.
