Do I need a garden room?

Are you thinking of building a garden room this year, but can’t decide how,what when or where?

Here is our survival guide check list to help you: -

1. What do you want to achieve with a room in the garden that isn’t possible in your room in the house?
2. Will having a room in the garden improve life in the house as well?
3. Do you want a cheap and cheerful garden room, a smaller, off-the-peg garden room, or a permanent, bespoke garden room suitable for all year round use?
4. If you have a room in the garden, how will this improve your garden and your immediate environment?
5. Do you already have a garden building?  If so, would you like your garden room to replace this or will it be an additional building?
6. Haw big do you want your garden building to be?
7. Do you understand the garden room planning permission rules?
8. Do you want plumbing in your garden room? Plumbing adds costs to your foundations and ground works. However if you want to use your garden room as a garden office or additional guest space, plumbing could be a bonus.
